Botanical
medicine involves the therapeutic use of plants to promote balance
and incite healing. Plants have been used throughout history for
their healing and nutritional properties and are the foundation
for modern pharmacology. Combining the best of historical knowledge
with modern research, we use botanical medicines to stimulate the
innate ability of the body to heal itself and to provide support
during the healing process. Herbs may be administered as teas, tinctures,
salves, poltices, capsules, tablets, essential oils, infusions or
decoctions. A single herb or a combination of several herbs may
be prescribed depending on the needs of each individual.
