Inspired by the beautiful Paracelsus gardens at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, we have been gradually developing a botanical garden to serve as a lovely healing sanctuary for patients to spend time in. 

We have recently created a special Crystal Garden within that space.  In this garden you will find the following healing stones and crystals: Amazonite, Aquamarine, Adventurine Blue Onyx, Chrysocolla, Fuchsite and Quartz.   Please find details of each of these below.  

Amazonite has a powerful filtering action.  At a physical level, it blocks geopathic stress, absorbs EMFs and protects against electromagnetic pollution. At a mental level, it filters the information passing through the brain and combines it with intuition.

This is an extremely soothing stone.  It calms the brain and nervous system and aligns the physical body with the etheric, maintaining optimal health.  It balances masculine and feminine energies.  It is a stone that helps you to see both sides of a problem or different points of view.  At an emotional level, Amazonite soothes emotional trauma, alleviating worry and fear.  It dispels negative energy and aggravation.  Spiritually, the stone assists in manifesting universal love.

Aquamarine is a stone of courage.  Its calming energies reduce stress and quiet the mind.  It harmonizes its surroundings.  Psychologically, Aquamarine has an affinity with sensitive people.  It has the power to invoke tolerance of others.  It overcomes judgment, gives support to anyone who is overwhelmed by responsibility, and encourages taking responsibility for oneself.  It can help to break old, self-defeating patterns. 

Aquamarine calms the mind, filtering information that reaches the brain to clarify perception, sharpen the intellect and clear up confusion.  Aquamarine is useful for closure on all levels.  It clears blocked communication and promotes self-expression.  This stone is helpful in understanding underlying emotional states and interpreting how you feel.  It soothes fears.  Spiritually, Aquamarine sharpens intuition and is a wonderful stone for meditation and spiritual awareness, encouraging service to humanity. 

Aventurine is a very positive stone of prosperity.  Psychologically, Aventurine reinforces leadership qualities and decisiveness.  It promotes compassion and empathy and encourages perseverance.  It takes you back into the past to find the root causes of disease.  This stone stabilizes one’s state of mind, stimulates perception, and enhances creativity.  It sees alternatives and possibilities.  Aventurine calms anger and irritation, it stimulates emotional recovery and enables living within one’s own heart.  Physically, Aventurine promotes a feeling of well-being.  It regulates growth and encourages regeneration of the heart.  Spiritually, Aventurine protects the heart chakra.

Chrysocolla is a tranquil and sustaining stone.  It helps meditation and communication.  It invokes great inner strength.  It calms, cleanses and reenergizes all of the chakras and aligns them with the divine.  At the solar plexus chakra, it draws out emotions such as guilt and reverses destructive emotional programming.  At the heart chakra, it heals heartache and increases capacity to love.  At the throat, it improves communication but helps you to discern when to keep silent.  Psychologically, Chrysocolla encourages self-awareness and inner balance, and imparts confidence and sensitivity.  It enhances personal power and inspires creativity.  Overcoming phobias, it draws out negativity and helps provide motivation for those who lack it.  Mentally, Chrysocolla reduces mental tensions and promotes truth and impartiality.  Emotionally, Chrysocolla alleviates guilt and brings in joy.

Blue Onyx is strength-giving.  It provides support in difficult or confusing circumstances and during times of enormous mental or physical stress.  Centering your energy and aligning it with a higher power, accessing higher guidance is facilitated by Onyx as is connection with the whole.  This stone promotes vigor, steadfastness and stamina.  It aids in learning lessons, imparting self-confidence and helping to be at ease in your surroundings.  Holding a piece of onyx takes your attention to the site of the previous injury or emotional wounding, which can then be released through energy or body work.  Onyx can be used to help heal old grief and sorrows. 

Psychologically, Onyx recognizes and integrates dualities within the self.  It anchors into a more stable way of life and alleviates overwhelming fears and worries.  Physically, Onyx balances the yin and yang energies in the body. 

Fuchsite accesses knowledge with great practical value.  It can channel information regarding herbal treatment and holistic remedies.  It suggests the most holistic action to take and receives guidance on health matters and well-being.  Fuchsite helps you to understand your interaction with other people and relates to basic concerns about life. 

Fuchsite teaches true self-worth.  It shows you how to do only what is appropriate and necessary for someone else’s soul growth and assists you to stand by placidly while they learn their own lessons.  It combines unconditional love with the tough love that says “no more”.  Fuchsite releases both souls to their own unique pathway. 

Fuchsite amplifies the energy of crystals and facilitates their transfer.  It moves energy to the lowest point, redressing the balance.  It releases blockages caused by excess energy, shifting the energy into positive channels. 

Quartz is the most powerful healing and energy amplifier on the planet because of its unique helical spiral crystalline form.  Found worldwide, it absorbs, stores, releases and regulates energy and is excellent for unblocking it.  This crystal works at a vibrational level attuned to the specific energy requirements of the person needing healing.  It takes the energy to the most perfect state possible, going back to before the illness or disease set in.  It cleanses and enhances the organs and is a deep soul cleanser, connecting the physical dimension with the mind.
